The big day is almost here and I literally could not be more excited! I am counting down to turkey, and mashed potatoes, and cranberries, and sweet potatoes, and “salads” made of whipped cream…
Sorry, back! I was having food daydreams :). I went back and forth about which drink would get the actual “Thanksgiving” feature, but landed on this one because A) It’s easy; B) You can make a lot to serve many; and C) It has all the perfect pairing flavors to match your tryptophan-inducing meal.
Autumn Cider Sangria
- 1 bottle pinot grigio (or other crisp white)
- 2 cups fresh apple cider
- ½ cup cranberry juice
- ½ cup brandy
- 3 apples (I used braeburn), chopped
- 3 pears, chopped
- 3 cinnamon sticks
Combine all ingredients together in a pitcher and stir well. Refrigerate for at least one hour, and enjoy!
I’m serving mine in a Mama Bear Mason Jar, since well… I’m thankful for my Mama Bear and this is definitely her holiday of choice!
Now, if you’ll excuse me… I’m off to go find my fat pants!
